Accessibility Policy
The Wood County Auditor’s Office endeavors to create content that is at least minimally accessible to anyone with disabilities using assistive technology when accessing the website.
Our standards for accessibility are determined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, created by the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). WCAG 2.0 describes three Conformance Levels of compliance: A (all priority 1 checkpoints are satisfied), Double-A (all priority 1 and 2 checkpoints are satisfied), and Triple-A (all priority 1, 2, and 3 checkpoints are satisfied). This website is developed to meet a minimum of Conformance level A, as well as many of the priority level 2 checkpoints.
Additionally, the Wood County Auditor’s Office has tested its pages and content using assistive technology such as voice browsers and screen readers, and is committed to assessing the website to improve usability and accessibility.
We welcome any comments about the usability and accessibility. If you are having a problem accessing any part of the website, or would like to make a suggestion for improvement, please contact us.
