This is a tax savings program for property owners who are 65 years of age or older, or property owners who are permanently and totally disabled. Late applicants must have a 2023 Ohio modified adjusted gross income (Ohio Tax Return Adjusted Gross Income Line 3 PLUS Ohio Schedule of Adjustments Business Income Deduction) of $38,600 or less for the tax year 2024 payable 2025. New applicants must have a 2024 Ohio modified adjusted gross income of $40,000 or less for the tax year 2025 payable in 2026.
An original application is required for this program and the home must be the applicant’s primary residence. The property owners will be notified of acceptance into the program.
